A unique setting with a rich heritage, Elsecar is an extraordinary venue for your special day. It will delight guests and provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding. The Ironworks is currently closed.
The shops, studios and workshops at Elsecar Heritage Centre will begin a phased reopening from Monday 15 June. Following government advice on the reopening of non-essential retail, the shop owners have been working hard to ensure they are ready for visitors to return.
Michelin award-winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, will be making a welcome return to Elsecar’s annual Flavours Food Festival on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 October. The well-loved television personality will be cooking up a storm in the historic South Yorkshire Village as he meets with fans and performs lively cookery demonstrations throughout the action packed weekend. The 5 AA Rosette chef will also showcase a selection of his recipes which people can recreate at home.
Have your say! Following adoption of the Local Plan, Barnsley Council is consulting on a range of new draft guidance documents.
