Great Engine Demonstration - 28 April
Join our expert guides for an exciting demonstration of The Earls' Great Engine. Invented to pump water out of the coal mine by Thomas Newcomen in 1712 the engine at Elsecar stands proudly, as one of the world’s most important monuments to the Industrial Revolution.
